Wellbeing for all ages and stages of life.

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of our entire body. This holistic treatment identifies restrictions in our muscles, tendons, fascia and nervous system and gently allows the body to move to its new position of ease.

Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a 10 cent piece, practitioners release restrictions in the body to improve the functioning of the central nervous system and thus the whole system.

By complementing the body’s natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and provide support for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including:

  • Migraine Headaches
  • Chronic Neck and Back Pain
  • Digestive Issues
  • Post Surgery Recovery and dysfunction
  • Central Nervous System Disorders
  • Concussions and Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Menopause Symptoms
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Stress and Tension-Related Problems
  • Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ)
  • Post-Surgical Dysfunction
  • Pre and Postnatal Wellbeing
  • Babies Birth Trauma, Feeding, Sleeping and Posture Issues

Upledger Craniosacral Therapy (CST) was pioneered and developed by osteopathic physician John E. Upledger following extensive scientific studies from 1975 to 1983 at Michigan State University, where he served as a clinical researcher and Professor of Biomechanics.

While treating clients with Craniosacral Therapy techniques the most common comments made are “amazing how gentle the treatment is” and also “Such light touch has such a profound effect throughout the body?” Each treatment is personalised to the requirements of the client whether they are newborn or 99.
